In December 2024, our Pickup Safe in the hall of Zwijndrecht Central Station was irreparably damaged due to vandalism.
With the form, you can ask us a question or provide information, such as a change of address or a birth. Your information will be treated confidentially.

The expected delivery times are indicative from the suppliers. If your medication is unavailable, we recommend contacting us in advance to discuss an alternative, so we have the opportunity to consult with your doctor.
If you use our Repeat Service, you will usually receive your medication starting from a week before your current supply runs out. If you do not use the Repeat Service, you will need to request a new prescription from your doctor. You can contact us for more information.
If you are eligible, you will receive an invitation from us. You can also contact Veer Apotheek directly with any questions about your medication use.
Typically, we only dispense medication to you personally. If you cannot come to the pharmacy yourself and want someone else to pick up your medication, you must give permission for this. Please contact us to provide this authorization. Note: Medications cannot be picked up by children under the age of 14.
When you submit a prescription, we check that your details are correctly registered and that the dosage is accurate. We also verify that your medication can be used safely with other medications you may be taking. After a staff member prepares your new medication, another staff member double-checks everything. We then provide you with advice on its use. This process takes time.
Additionally, there have been many supply issues with medication in the Netherlands in recent years. We call suppliers daily to ensure our clients receive their needed medication. We even regularly import medications from abroad when they are no longer available locally. This also takes time.

You can register online or visit the pharmacy in person. To register, we need the following information:
- Your personal details, along with a valid ID
- Your medical information
- Information about your health insurance
Your health insurer determines which medications are covered, which are not, and which are partially covered. If you pick up medications that are covered, we will directly bill the costs to your insurer. If your medication is not fully covered, you will need to pay for it yourself at the time of pickup.
If you are unable to pick up your medication at the pharmacy, you can have it delivered to your home free of charge by our delivery service. Please contact us to arrange this.
If you are not home when our delivery person arrives, they will take your medication or supplies back to the pharmacy. You will find a delivery notice in your mailbox, which indicates when the delivery person will return. Alternatively, you may be asked to contact us to arrange a new delivery time.
With a pickup locker, you can collect your medications safely, quickly, and easily, even outside the pharmacy's opening hours. You can use the pickup locker if:
- You are registered with Veer Apotheek;
- You have indicated that you want to use the pickup locker;
- Your medications are suitable for the locker. The locker is not suitable for refrigerated medications or large packages.
Once you have registered for the pickup locker and submitted a prescription, we will place your medications in the locker. You will receive an email or SMS with a pickup code. Enter this code into the locker to open the door and retrieve your medications.
